Annapathiram, meaning “feeding the needy,” is a cherished tradition rooted in South Indian culture, particularly in Tamil Nadu. This practice embodies the essence of compassion and community service, emphasizing the importance of providing sustenance to those in need.

RCME members demonstrate compassion by contributing to Annapaathiram, providing meals to the needy in old age homes and orphanages in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. This initiative provide meals, highlighting a commitment to supporting vulnerable communities. Since the date of initiation of the project in 2021, we have served 2,00,000+ meals.

Annapathiram is more than an act of charity; it is a social equalizer. By feeding the needy, the practice breaks down barriers of caste, class, and economic disparity, fostering a sense of unity and shared humanity. It reminds society of the fundamental principle that everyone deserves access to basic necessities, such as food.
