PAARVAI is RCME’s cataract surgical initiative in collaboration with Aravind Eye Hospital and MindTree. The previous year, we performed 5000 cataract procedures at a cost of 1 crore rupees. This year, we want to do 2500 surgical procedures in the month of March. We are optimistic that we will be able to complete the remaining 1000 by the end of March, as we have already performed 1500 procedures.
